Women's Issues
As a pro-choice woman and hardworking mother of two, I am ready to use my voice unapologetically as an advocate for all women to ensure their physical safety, personal wellbeing, and economic security. Access to childcare, childcare affordability, employer flexibility, and support for moms, children and families has a huge impact on our lives. In Oregon, women still only earn between 53 and 83 cents to the dollar of their white male counterparts. More than half of our women and girls have endured domestic or sexual violence. While Oregon is far ahead of many states, we still clearly have so much important work to do.
