As an employee of the Oregon Land and Conservation and Development Department, it is extremely obvious to me just how important our farmers and foresters are here in Marion County. I will use my extensive background in land-use planning and community engagement to help our county make informed decisions about the best way to sustainably use our land. Whether they know it or not, everyone in Marion County relies on our rich agricultural industry, so let’s make sure we are doing our best to protect it!
